SOCIAL WORKER

Angela Misesi social worker by profession having studied Bachelor of Social Work from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She has done a short course in Case Management from Weza Care Solutions and another in Psychological First Aid geared toward supporting children and Young people from UK Health Security Agency. She has previously worked as an intern in the Kakamega County Network of Persons Living with Disabilities and the County Government of Nairobi in the department of Social Services. She is experienced in children, women, and youths’ rights and advocacy as well as Gender Based Violence Prevention. Angela works as a family social Worker serving families in line with UKR’s Family Care Model. She also assists the Public Health and Sanitation department in the healthy homes program in identifying areas in which families need support in terms of healthy homes.
