SOCIAL WORKER
Dorothy has worked for Kenya Rising since early 2019 and visits families at home to problem-solve, offer psycho-social support, and provide general advice & encouragement. She holds a Diploma in Social Work from Kenya School of Medicine, Science, and Technology, and she speaks English, Swahili, and Luhya. Her previous work experience includes volunteering as a social worker for Kakamega General Hospital, and a storekeeping position at Haneki General Contractors. She also worked with homeless children for a USAID-funded project called Western Education and Empowerment Program (WEAEP). Dorothy’s hobbies include reading, traveling, and socializing.
