SOCIAL WORKER
Lucy Khasoa was the first social worker for UKR mandated with doing home visits, checking on families’ welfare as well as supporting families with psychosocial needs. She has been instrumental in teaching families on livelihood for self-sustainability as an Associate Lead Coach from Street Business School (SBS). She holds a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development from the Kobujoi Institute of Development Studies a constituent of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. Previously, she volunteered to do data collection for UWEZO-Kenya and she has been a social worker for both Kima Mission Hospital and for an organization called Sustainable Community Opportunities for Restoration and Empowerment (SCORE). She is passionate about working with vulnerable children and families.
